Externships are a valuable opportunity to gain experience in your field of study. At Fast Pace Health, We invite students who are enrolled in a Medical Assistant, Licensed Practical Nurse, Registered Nurse, X-Ray Technologist, Nurse Practitioner, or Physician Assistants program to become a part of our team through our Extern Program. We are particularly interested in hearing from students who have longer-term career aspirations with Fast Pace Health.
We are looking for motivated students that want to learn, observe and study under the supervision of experienced clinical personnel.
We recommend you submit your application at least two months prior to the requested start date. If you are a school coordinator and assisting students, you will need to fill out a job application for each student. Resumes are required to fill out the application.

Christian Family Medicine offers both primary care and walk-in acute care at eight locations across West Tennessee and two in Middle Tennessee. Our clinics treat patients of all ages, from babies to the elderly. We also welcome patients of all income levels, including patients on TennCare. All clinics are certified as Rural Health Clinics, allowing them to provide greater access to health care to Medicaid and Medicare patients. As certified Rural Health Clinics, we also know the unique challenges often faced by TennCare patients as they seek medical care.
Not only will the entire team at our offices know you by name, you can also get professional medical services you likely wouldn't expect at a walk-in clinic!

Equipped with multiple exam rooms, on-site lab testing, and digital x-ray capabilities, First Care Clinics provide a broad array of urgent, walk-in, and occupational medicine services. Open seven days a week with extended hours on nights and weekends, our clinics offer treatment for a wide variety of common illnesses, injuries, and conditions.
At First Care, we take urgent care a step further, by combining care with compassion and a consideration for your time. Since no appointment is necessary and a nurse practitioner is always on site, you can take comfort in knowing that great care will always be there when you need it.
